The flight flew from RAF Brize Norton on 24th April 2024 with 500 cuddly giraffes on board to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital in memory of Louise Conway who died at just nine years old of leukaemia in 2013. Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate donated 50% of the production costs on behalf of the junior school, Chapter House, and our Forces community across campus - which is about 25% of our total student population.

I would like to thank the science department for their amazing student support service. Ms Aldridge, Mr Cresswell and Mr Carrey are only a few I can name! I am currently studying my masters in London and have this school (science department) to thank. I my self was bullied, when attending this school. The teachers helped me straight away and without any hesitation. The school offers many opportunities for the students. Such as activities week, work experiences and the ability for students to apply as head girl and boy. Helping them gain the confidence they need for the working life.

Really happy with the progress our son has made since joining the school back in 2016.
Excellent school. In the 2 and a half years my daughter has been here she has grown from a shy quiet girl to an increasingly confident young lady. Her education has been second to none. At 6 years old she can already read fluently and her maths is at a level that older children we know would struggle with. I cannot believe that anyone could say there was a problem with bullying. We left Hyde Park as it was so dreadful and have found Montpelier to be an exemplary school. Any problems are dealt with quickly and effectively. The pupils are are encouraged to be hard working and engaged and the expected standard leads to an atmosphere full of positivity and learning success. It is a wonderful place to learn and play!

This may be little biased coming from us, so here are the stats for the student satisfaction surveys we run in 2013: 99.8% of students 'had a good time' with us, 96.9% 'liked their host families', 96.9% of short terms students felt their English got better, 100% of long term students felt their English got better and - best of all - 95% of our students would recommend Meridian School of English!
