This was good honest food. We had a good lunch here and the staff were accommodating to our 2 year old who was having a tough day. It is not far from Plymouth gin either! They had quite an extensive menu for sweet drinks I think too, though this is not what we had. They had a few gifty bits in there too.
Absolutely loved this place! First time visit today. Quirky and welcoming with tasty food and reasonable price. We took our cake to go as had no more room after our paninis.

This is my favorite place to go to when visiting Plymouth. Coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. Great location by the water. The wait time can be a little long- but to be expected anywhere this popular. Friendly staff too š
Great coffee & cakes. Beautiful interiors and friendly stuff. I wish they stayed open a bit later in the evening as it would have been a great place for wine and tapas. One of the nicest places in Plymouth with a NYC touch

The best cake! Such a good variety and everything is so fresh and tasty. Never been let down, but really impressed with the last visit and the white chocolate Victoria sponge. Really good value for money and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. A great small business
I had a great visit here on Saturday with my wife, sister and grandma. My grandma had a few dietary restrictions that she was a little worried about. A female member of staff was really great and made my grandma feel a lot calmer. The drinks and food we were served were really good.

Food is absolutely lovely but thereās that one man who serves very rude disgusting attitude towards kids and adults
Brilliant chippy. friendly staff, great service and excellent value for money

Good quality fish fried in flavourless oil. Menu price dose not include VAT. Which in my view is a sneaky way of doing things. Small fish size! I got ājumboā cod that looked like a standard cod at any other place. Dose not deserve national award! Had nicer fish and chips at many different places!..........I never said I had a bad experience I gave you place 3 stars I simply pointed out that you donāt deserve your natural award and your portion may be weighed but they are small sorry if you donāt like these comments but they are all true.
Made another visit and I have to say I really enjoyed the fish, chips and mushy pea meal deal. I have increased my star rating for Harbourside . Perhaps in the past I was a little unlucky. The paragraph below was my original review. I have had a take away from here several times. The cod portion is a little small but the fish is very fresh. The chips are on the dry side. The price is very good. I would go again but I won't rush to return. If I had a choice I would go to the chippy next door.

Really nice chip shop - will definitely use again - take plastic also with only a small minimum purchase.
Brilliant fish and chips, cooked fresh as you order. Very reasonable, easy to park outside.

Excellent sandwiches, really nice fillings and great staff
Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, good quality ingredients, passionate about meeting my needs, gorgeous, tasty food!

Good welcome always, great staff and excellent food and drinks. My morning stop for a cuppa before work.
Consistently great food off a high quality. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is relaxed

Lovely place in the Royal William Yard. I've been here a few times but I haven't left a review. The menu offers plenty of different types of food. The breakfast menu is great as it runs all day (so don't worry about sleeping in and missing breakfast!) I would honestly book if you're planning on visiting at a weekend as it can be very popular. Great location as there are plenty of other restaurants near by if you wanted to have a few drinks of an evening.
Enjoyed a lovely reasonably priced lunch here today catching up with 2 friends. Sadly we decided to leave earlier than we anticipated. We found the volume of the music was just too loud. We asked for it to be turned down and were told yes it would be turned down. But it wasn't. We decided after waiting a while we had enough. We had wanted to catch up and be able to talk to each. We finally let staff know on our way out why we were leaving. Why does the volume of music have to be so loud? It really ruined our lunchtime.

The best Chinese takeaway in the south west. You pay a little more but gosh it's worth it. Be prepared to wait during busy times but again it's worth the wait
Stunning meal. Been using Masterchef for ages. Always good, but tonight was the best. Recommend this Takeaway to ANYONE.

Always order through just eat app and food is always early, piping hot and as ordered, delivery drivers are usually friendly too.
Nice fairly priced Chinese food. Probably the best chicken and sweetcorn soup in Plymouth and my partner loves their green pepper and black bean sauce. I find the 1 star reviews unbelievable as my partner and I have been getting food from here for years. That said, we usually order in the shop rather than through just-eat but it's usually ready very quickly and the wait gives us time to go to tesco or sainsburys.

Good food, friendly staff, fair prices and happy to modify the food to meet your preferences. I've been using them for a dozen or so years.
Not bad could do with updating shop and new kitchen food not bad but could be better

I have ordered from spice merchant regularly for what is probably over 10 years, I canāt think of a time when it has been anything other than excellent! All the staff are always friendly, the food is always delivered quickly and itās always fresh, delicious and hot! I would never order from anywhere else! Iāve read other peopleās reviews on here and nearly everyone is more than happy with spice merchant, the people that have left bad reviews are probably never happy with anything and probably donāt know what good food tastes like! Thanks spice merchant, Iāll be ordering again soon (as always) Jack
Nice local Indian take away with good hygiene rating. But it can be pricey....

Absolutely fabulous meal. Just eaten so much Vegetable Thali I feel a bit ill but it was too delicious to put down!! Partner had the Tandori Chicken Biryani and also loved it. Super food, lovely fresh ingredients, already planned what I'm having next time!!! š We collected an online order but I understand they deliver too. Totally recommended.
Absolutely awesome place to get an Indian take-away or delivery. Having lived in Pakistan myself for 11 years I know a thing or two about a good curry. This place is by far one of the best I have come across here in the UK. If you like your food a little on the spicy side I suggest the Madras which I have most times when we order. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very good biriani's, always fast & cheerful service. Best takeaway on North Hill.
Number one place to go to. Tried special tikka chilli on an off chance and it was honestly the best thing Iāve ever tasted! Chicken sag, pilau rice, chips (mega!) and a mos mos naan every time!!

Best kebab in Plymouth, I should know, I have easily been to 11 different kebab houses and haven't been able to top this so far... Firstly and most importantly, they have the best kebab meat. Its worth paying that little extra for better quality. Excellent salad options. Nice chips and spicy spuds. Decent burgers. Pizzas and chicken also seem popular choices with the customers but I haven't personally tried them. I can't tell you how many naysayers I have converted over the years to the glory of the kebab thanks to Favourite Food. Decent packaging that doesn't fall apart the minute you leave the store. Great service. Good seating area, open late 7 days a week and they delivered to me a few times and I live miles away.
Service was a little on the grumpy side, however, probably the best chicken burger I have had in Plymouth, period. A lot of people really rate the spicy potatoes... Not my thing, but worth a try?

Very clean inside. Fast service with a very varied menu. Had a very nice falafel wrap, which is unusual to see in this type of establishment and particularly on this part of the world!
Ā£8 mixed shish comes with loads of meat , great value.

Many 'a drunken nights out will end here and almost always will inspire the hammered adventurer inside. With great service and a friendly wink, wether it be on your way home, to the after party or to the morning mistake this place will always provide happiness no matter what your next step. Just don't be a douche inside because it doesn't end well and the staff don't deserve it. I was originally going to give 4 stars, mostly because I don't like to give 5 star reviews. However I couldn't think of a genuine reason apart from it isn't free.
Been going jakes for years and the food has always been top notch grub . 110% recommend this place ...
